Twilight 2010

Enjoy early evening entertainment in and around the Festival market every night of the Festival (except Sunday 26 th). Your first option is a pair of attractive daily demonstrations. There is always a cookery demonstration at 5pm on a Chocolate theme and then a Cocktail demonstration (from Cedar Court Grand Hotel) at 6pm.

Key stands open late include the Festival’s collaborative stands along with a wide range of hot food and Yorkshire produce: - all open until 7pm. So come down, do some shopping and enjoy the show.

At the heart of every evening is the Fountain Café programme, these are drop in events that have a different theme each night, often with an ‘arts’ element to complement the great Yorkshire food on offer and the Yorkshire Real Ales (plus wine, soft drinks etc.) from the Beer Tent which together with the Fountain Café and Grazing Café form one large licensed area at night. The Food offer is extended by the Festival’s own stand alongside the Fountain Café which changes its menus to complement the theme of the night. Food and drink is served until 9pm.

The Grazing Café is also open until 7pm every night. The Café showcases York’s independent Food retailers. Visitors can order grazing plates of deli items across a range of different continental, Yorkshire and ethnic foods. The standard grazing plate (£3) is designed as a snack but can be extended into lunch or supper if desired.
