“What a difference a year makes” is a wine tasting that explores how a year in a cellar can change a wine. If the last 2 years have proven anything it’s that a lot can change in a year!
Compare and contrast some of your favourite grape varieties such as Sauvignon and Rioja with Lucy Hjort from Melton’s Restaurant.
Lucy with her husband Michael have been running Melton’s for over 30 years. It is featured in all the major food guides and has a rating of 5 in the good food guide. She carefully hand-selects all her wine for the restaurant and the cellar is stocked with 120 different wines from across the world. Their sister restaurant The Chopping Block at Walmgate Ale House, originally Melton’s too, has been open since 2001.
2 course meal included. Vegan, Vegetarian & Pescatarian options available but need to be known in advance.
