York Cocoa Works Chocolate Manufactory Tasting Journey

Learn how York Cocoa Works make chocolate with their Chocolate Manufactory Tasting Journey.

During your time with us, one of our expert chocolate makers will share the secrets of our cocoa and how we transform it into chocolate. You will discover our origins and learn the rich history of chocolate making in York before taking a peek into our manufactory and watching our chocolate being made. This session concludes with a special tasting conducted by our cocoa connoisseur. You will sample the chocolate we make from cocoa beans all around the world, experiencing the different strengths and flavour notes in our range.

Following the journey, you are invited to join us in our Cocoa Cafe where you can use your ticket to enjoy further discounts across our whole product range.

A Taste of Florian Poirot – Master Patissier

We welcome Florian Poirot, a nationally renowned pastry chef, to our tasting program.

Florian Poirot has worked with some of the biggest names in UK food, winning numerous awards in the process. He’s well known for his Macarons but his talents certainly don’t stop there. Come to this tasting to discover his sweet treats!

Taste Trail – Friday

Claim a range of samples from some of Yorks finest businesses. Tickets are strictly limited for this event, we strongly recommend booking in advance.

Things are a bit different this year so we’ve tweaked the format of our Taste Trail. Rather than joining each business individually, the Taste of York Taste Trail gives you access to several venues in the centre of York that will each offer sampling from the surrounding businesses.
