Where and When
The festival market, bars, food factory and demonstrations are located on Parliament Street and St Sampsons Square.
Events such as wine tastings, dinners, trails etc are city wide

Food Factory; 10.30am to 6pm (last entrance 4pm) NB: Main Festival only
Demonstrations; 12pm to 5pm
Festival Bars; 11am to 9pm (last day closes at 5pm)

Parking at York Food Festival
York Food Festival is situated in York City Centre. You can park at any of the council car parks listed here
Please note that coaches are not permitted inside the city walls.
There is plenty for children to do at York Food Festival. From watching chef demonstrations, to learning how to make chocolate to tasting samples from stalls! We aim to provide something for all ages to take part in and enjoy.
Well-behaved dogs (and owners!) are welcome at York Food Festival.
There are public toilets on Silver Street, just off St Sampsons Square. These are owned by York Council and have a charge of 40p for use. There are baby changing facilities and a disabled toilet.
There are a range of cash points on Parliament Street. HSBC, Barclays and the Royal Bank of Scotland all have cash points outside.
The Festival is outdoors, so it is easily accessible to disabled visitors. We can make arrangements for disabled visitors to have space/seats in the demonstration area. Please visit the Information Point once you arrive at the festival.
There is plenty of vegetarian and vegan food on offer at York Food Festival. Most stalls have vegetarian/vegan alternatives.
