As well as getting the chance to show off your design skills, you will also get to handle objects ranging from Rowntree’s sweets/chocolates boxes, a hands-on ‘game’ which was actually an entry test to see whether you could work in the factory, and magazines which the Rowntree’s factory produced for its workers to read. Whether you have your own memories of Rowntree’s in York, or if you’re just interested in chocolate, we’d love to see you there!
